Dear Faith,
I have admired you as a beautiful woman and person for many years now. I love your voice, the beauty, the spirit, the strength and the joy that you possess. I am sorry for your personal pain that you have endured and have graciously shared with your fans. I purchased your Book “Keep the Faith” 1 month ago and I couldn’t put it down. I read your book in less than 3 days; I just could not put it down! You gave such vivid accounts of your personal life as a single woman, wife and friend to Biggie and mother to your children as well as others who in one way or another touched your lives.

You gave me a whole new view on the music industry as a whole and how vastly open and complex it can be. “I so very much enjoyed your story”, I cried tears reading your book and I prayed for your and your family that the Lord has given you peace, comfort and joy from your past life. You have blessed me, my sistah and I also feel that you have helped other girls and women by sharing your personal story and being courageous.

If I never get to meet you, I would like for you to know that after reading your book I have superior respect and appreciation for you and what you have endured and have been delivered from. God bless you, Faith.

Good Afternoon Faith,
I just wanted to sort of piggy back off the previous person's response to your Memoir. I really enjoyed reading your book, as I too could not put it down and finished the book in about a day and a half. I could really appreciate your memoir because it brought me back to that time in the music industry as a fan and just hearing those interviews, reading the magazines and just living in that momentous time in music. Once I read your book, I had to tell all of my friends to get the book and share it with as many people as I could. And being a new yorker, it was so much more rewarding for me because I was like "yo that's my spot in brooklyn", or "I remember that interview on hot 97", it just so crazy. It is so interesting how fans hold celebrities on such high pedestals like they are immune from the realities of life and we often forget that celebrities are people who have lives whether it be with trying to make their marriages work, raising children or just hoping for continued success in their careers. Its crazy because your memoir was such an emotional read for me because your experiences were so real. I want to wish you all the best and I am glad that you were able to share that part of your life despite how personal it may have been. Thank you

Kalifa
