San Jose, Ca
Hey yall. I just came from seeing the one and only Queen Tina! I must say, that was the BEST concert I ever went to. Queen Tina turned it out! For her to be 68 years old and still poppin and lockin like that on stage, she did a wonderful job. Her voice is so strong. Her dance moves? She has toned them down a big but she still moves with her swag. It was just very exciting. A lot of money was put into this show. Her personality, her energy, the music, the songs...everything!! I'm sooo happy that I went and had a chance to experience one of my favorites. This is once in a lifetime. She may never tour again and I'm soo thankful that I went. I saw Janet Jackson last month and she did real good too, but Tina is Queen! If you want to compare Tina's set to Janet's, Tina wins hands down. Janet's set looks cheap compared to Tina's. But both women put on good ass shows. Tina sung all her hits and had everyone on their feet. I'm still in shocked. I'm soo amazed. There will be a DVD for those that won't be able to make it to see her.
Oh, and Lisa Fischer is one of her background singers and Lisa turned it out! She even did a lil solo while Tina changed.
Here is the setlist and some pics that I took. You can see the rest on my myspace. And here is just one of the videos that I uploaded. I'll upload and share the rest this week.
