I really like Michelle's new single "We Break The Dawn".
It's neat that she's trying out this R&B/Pop Genre, since her main theme of music was Gospel.

Her new album "Unexpected" comes out August 26th I think.
I didn't really feel her music before, I've always supported my girl B and my other girl K; but I think this album will really make a strong 'comeback' for Michelle and introduce her as not just 'That Chick from Destiny's Child' but simply as Michelle Williams.

That is all.
faithfully
I like her as always, more than Kelly.

IMO, it seems like a lot of r&b artists make gospel cds at some point, then they go back.

There isn't really any money to be made when comes to gospel.

that's true. illegal downloading took a huge chunk out of the industry 'cause people didn't think it would hurt the artist until a few years ago. sad.

So true and I will admit I am guilty of it. But people just don't come out with good music no more. I aint paying $20 for a CD and only like 20% of the album.

yeah. plus, when u try to return the cd, they only give u $4.00 cash back! the retailer's need to put "warning, 80% of this cd will probably suck" instead of the mess they come up with on the "get yo attention" stickers on the front of the cd.

that`s the great thing about iTunes!..... Listen to the tracks and buy the ones you want!..... or just download the whole thing for free but usually when I really like an artist I`ll buy their stuff!

what I don`t get is how some of these record companies put albums together?!...... it`s true, most of the time you only like about 20% of the CD!.... and if ur lucky, you may get used to the rest of it but like I say..... thank god for iTunes!....

as for Michelle Williams, I really hope that she doesn`t get overlooked! I like her voice and I hope her new album does her justice!
