in 1995, it was an issue about how both of the ladies were being marketed in R&B (sound, personality, style, music). apparently Bad Boy wanted the single "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" on Faith's debut album, but Mary saw it as an attack on her image, and people started saying that my girl wanted to be like Mary J. Blige. but I really had a hard time seeing the similarities between Mary and Faith. they are so different. i love both of them.

Mary started having issues with Puff. She claims he was not spending enough time on her music and accused him of giving Faith her Image. She cut ties with Badboy and Puff and asked for her vocals to be removed from Love don't live here anymore. During her Breakthrough promotion she said the beef was not with her and Faith but more with Puff.

I just thought that was disrespectful for her to remove her vocals from Faith Cd when Faith had wrote like 3 songs and sung background on her My Life album. It would be good for them to work together again and put an end to the Media influenced rivalry.

There is no collabo for the Mary's current album. I've seen the track list. However, Mary's album is being pushed back to not conflict with Beyonce's live DVD and album.

No, it was Mary who had the vocals removed. She was calling herself cutting ties with Badboy. At that time Mary was into drugs and she thought Puff was trying to give Faith her spot. The media also boost it up by making rumors that Faith was Mary's vocal coach. Mary also was real good friend with Lil Kim who was beefing with Faith at that time too. I respect Faith because she handle the situation very well. I have never heard of Faith speaking negative of Mary, but Mary have said negative things about her in interviews.

I posted their first videos for U to see the clothes were different. We already know the sound is different. In what video was Faith wearing whole silk pajamas? U are a Mary fanatic so U can't tell me nothing about Faith. Another thing Faith won Miss New Jersey Fashion Teen when she was younger. So that should let U know she don't need to follow in Mary or TLC sense of fashion.

Besides if U ever see 2 people wearing similar clothes that don't mean somebody is cloning the other person anyway. Its normal for 2 people to have the same sense of Fashion. The clothing lines would go out of business if only one person was allowed to wear any one particular outfit.
