Stone, who has been a major part of R&B and hip-hop for the past 30 years, recalls the special moments with Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey, among others in her book. But she understands that it will be the details about Beyonce and Jay-Z's affair that will make fans want to read the book Life In The Shadow Of A Sex Symbol. "I was right there in the beginning when Beyonce started dating Jay-Z, and I was a friend and confidante to her during those times," said Stone.

i don't know if angie is broke or not, i can't knock for her wanting to tell her life story---especially after 30 years in the game but hopefully there is more to it than just beyonce and jay-z's love life. Besides, there were some great to good memoirs/autos that came out this year from well-established and proven ladies of the entertainment industry (i.e. faye, diane carroll, pepa, kim osario--faith's being the best imo) giving a real insightful look on the trials and tribulations of being in the enterainment biz and just life in general versus just spilling the beans on somebody just for shock value(i.e. Carmen Jones, karrine stephen). I'm hoping and assuming that Angie will follow along those lines with her book to make it a worthy read as well.

Wdup. Hmmm that's weird focusing on ol'girl & Jay...I'm thinking her and Yonce' must've been close around the time they were doing that Fighting Temptations movie & soundtrack. That could be around the time Bouncey & Jay were starting up, right?

I'd like to hear about her experiences with other artists and shyt. I would be interested in hearing about the shyt her and D'Angelo did with Mary J. back in the day that never came out. I got a couple of those tracks, I like 'em.

My family is a member of the Y, so we go and play basketball twice a week. I also bowl a lot, and that's exercise enough for me.’

On the inspiration tip, Angie admits to putting down the sodas, candy, and junk food... something that a lot of us have trouble with.
