 JENNIFER ARMOUR IS OLD TO A FEW, BUT NEW TO MOST OF US. HER NAME MAY RING A BELL WITH A FEW. SHE WAS THE YOUNG LADY WHO SUED BEYONCE OVER THE SONG BABY BOY. MS.ARMOUR CLAIMED THAT SHE HANDED A DEMO TO BEYONCE FATHER MATHEW KNOWLES, WHO THEN STOLED ONE OF HER SONGS FROM HER DEMO. MS.ARMOUR DIDN'T WIN THE CASE, YET SHE STILL REFUSES TO GIVE UP. AFTER HEARING HER VOICE I CAN ACTUALLY SEE BEYONCE DOING ONE OF HER SONGS. HONESTLY SHE DOESN'T SOUND LIKE BEYONCE BUT SHE DOES HAVE A STRONG RANGE... You know that she stole her song. Bey and Matthew are no saints.(none of us are)....Remember how she did did Letoya and Latavia. Bey is known for stepping on necks to rise to the top. Sunshine Anderson is supposed to be a client of Matthew's also. They are probably stealing her material as well.
Artists should not submitt any music unless its through ASCAP or any other publishing association. Sometimes the poorman's copywright doesn't hold up either. There's always the small legal loophole where a slight change in the melody or arrangement can release them from any liability or damages. Some artist that submit things properly and still don't get paid unless they take the artist and label to court. Ne-Yo is taking her to court for "Irreplaceable".....So you know it was nothing for her to jack this young lady's material! A lot of artists, that don't write are thristy for material. Bey writes some of her music (maybe not, but stamps her name on it) but I don't think that it would stop her from stealing from anyone. Neyo recently said that wasnt true and he aint suing her.
Regardless though Bee does jack shit hardbody. I remember reading in Hip Hop Soul (what happened to that mag btw?) Rich Harrison was like how he produced "Crazy In Love" and wrote the verses and the hook and presented it to Bee. The only thing ole girl wrote was the bridge! He wasn't even saying that to put her on blast, he was just talking about how the song was created. Yet when you look at the credits Bee's the first name you see in the written credits and she was also named as a co-producer! She's a fraud! |

Heard about this ordeal from a rapper this artist sings for and saw there's a thread on it (I won't say his name in case anybodys still got beef) Yes, bey is known for ripping off material, and i always give people the benefit of the doubt, but after hearing this girls new record i believe it happened to her. Its not a stretch to picture her getting ripped off on a regular. shes obviously a great writer and singer. I had no idea...i have never met her in person but heard she's cool people. I for one, wish her the best. injustice is never pretty, no matter how "bootylicious" it seems.

I wonder if Jazmine Sullivan got paid for Resentment???????????? Yes, Jazzy S. did write that.....I am not sure if she got writing credit because the song was a bonus hidden track....
